Tristan was inducted into the USMC in October 2019 as an Honorary Marine in the Wounded Warrior Battalion West. He was the first K-9 to receive this honor at Camp Pendleton.

The U.S. Flag was proudly flown in the face of the enemy in his honor as part of Operation Inherent Resolve on July 4, 2018 in appreciation for his outstanding service to our Wounded Warriors and their families.

It resides on our mantle with pride.
